About Me
Meagan Daine
Meagan Daine is a crime writer and podcaster with a history of working with questionable characters. Born and raised in the East Texas Bible Belt, Meagan developed a taste for mischief as a kid and took off at age 17. She spent most of her 20s working with con artists, gang members, mobsters, and, ultimately, a drug-dealing private investigator and his cadre of dirty cops. After a series of narrow escapes, Meagan settled into life as a writer in Los Angeles. Her work has since been produced in multiple media, including theatre (The Road Theatre Company, Greenway Court Theatre, Hollywood Fringe Festival, and others); streaming (Threads, short form anthology, New Form Media, 2017); film (West of Redemption, feature Western thriller starring Billy Zane, Indican Pictures, 2019); and television (Games People Play, crime drama, BET, 2019 - 2021). Meagan has also written for the Parcast/Spotify podcast series Cults, Con Artists, and Female Criminals, among others, and is the co-creator and co-host of the podcast Hollywood Confessional, which seeks to hold entertainment industry wrongdoers accountable while giving their victims a voice. Meagan is the proud aunt of three little Texan rugrats. In her spare time, she enjoys epic hikes, bad online chess, and volunteer disaster relief.
